Metalworks Production Group Receives 2014 Sam McCallion Small Business Community Involvement Award! - November 20th, 2014

Metalworks Production Group is thrilled to be this year’s recipient of the Sam McCallion Small Business Community Involvement Award. The 2014 Mississauga Board of Trade Business Awards of Excellence Gala was held on Thursday, November 20th at the Mississauga Convention Centre, where the prestigious award was presented to Metalworks CEO Gil Moore by Mississauga Mayor Hazel McCallion.

The award is given to those who “exemplify extraordinary community involvement and outreach” and is sponsored by Enersource. Peter Gregg, President of Enersource, presented Gil Moore with the award.

Gil had this to say, “This award is very, very special to me and all of us at Metalworks. I knew Sam McCallion very well and he was a great man who supported the community tirelessly; having the award presented personally by our great Madam Mayor was the icing on the cake!”

Metalworks salutes and thanks Sheldon and the Mississauga Board of Trade for honoring Metalworks and congratulates all other award recipients!
