Rendez-Vous Champlain

Rendez-Vous Champlain - July 31st – August 2nd

From July 31st to August 2nd, Metalworks Production Group will be onsite at Rotary Champlain Wendat Park providing professional sound, lighting and staging for the Rendez-Vous Champlain Festival.

Celebrating 400 years of French presence in Ontario, Rendez-Vous Champlain is a festival dedicated to remembering Samuel de Champlain’s first trip to the Penetanguishene area in the year of 1615. This festival will boast beer garden featuring Champlain beer, food and craft vendors of all kinds, a kid’s zone, The Feast of the Three Sister’s Gala and the Order of Good Cheer Concert.

Our team will be responsible for setting up a Stageline SL250 with rolling risers for the performers. For audio we will use an AVID SC48 console with an L-Acoustics DV-DOSC audio system and SB218 subwoofers. For lighting we will be using LED bars with Martin Mac Entours and Martin Mac 600/700 for spot and washes.

While admission into the festival is free of charge, tickets are needed for The Feast of the Three Sister’s Gala as well as The Order of Good Cheer Concert and can be purchased here.
